Scooter

is a German dance band. The band is currently made up of members H.P. Baxxter, Rick Jordan and new member Michael Simon. Among their more well-known hits are "Ramp! (The Logical Song)", "Hyper Hyper", "Fire!", "How Much Is The Fish?", "Nessaja", "Weekend!", Maria (I Like It Loud), One (Always Hardcore) and "Hello! (Good to be Back)"and"The Ultimate Aural Orgasm".

It all started in 1986 when German recording artists H. P. Baxxter and Rick J. Jordan formed an 80's pop band along with a couple of other artists known as Celebrate the Nun. In late 1993 the two men joined up with H.P.'s cousin Ferris Bueller and manager Jens Thele to form a remix team known as The Loop. Originally the group started as a side project in 1994. Their debut single "Vallée De Larmes" (French for Valley Of Tears) reached #8 on the German dance chart. In April of that year, Scooter played their first live show in Hamburg, Germany,at "The Palladium" where vocalist H.P. Baxxter began freestyling off the top of his head to an instrumental dance track, thus the melody "Hyper Hyper" being born. At that point, Scooter officially became a group, and Baxxter's rapping would become one of the band's trademarks.

They have a sort of "trademark" style of dance, with most of their songs featuring some "rap shouting", sometimes featuring a high pitched vocal, which is evident especially on their biggest hit "Ramp! (The Logical Song)" (which samples "The Logical Song" by Supertramp). Much of their music features elements of a live performance, including the roar of the crowd, and the echoing sound of H.P.'s voice.

This style is very similar to the slightly earlier, but now mostly forgotten Scottish dance act Ultra-Sonic, who had minor chart hits with "Obsession" in 1992 and "Annihilating Rhythm" in 1993. Ultrasonic would later remix Scooter's "Move Your Ass" while Scooter in return remixed Ultrasonic's "Check Your Head".

Scooter's style would also appear to harp back to that of The KLF, especially so with the track entitled "Posse! (I Need You On The Floor) - with a sample which re-occurs throughout the work of The KLF. KLF references are also frequently used in Scooter songs. Both bands have released singles with the title "Fuck the Millennium": KLF in 1997 under the pseudonym 2K, and Scooter in 1999. Relatively lengthy and complex samples used in KLF tracks have often surfaced in Scooter tracks, such as the entire opening seconds of the KLF's "3am Eternal" being used to open "Hello (Good to be Back)" by Scooter. Ramp! (The Logical Song) also contains the line used in The KLF's 3AM Eternal track - "The K, The L, The F and the ology".

In 1998, third man Ferris Bueller left the group to pursue a solo career, and was replaced by DJ Axel Coon, who had been working with the band for sometime already. During this time, known as The Second Chapter, Scooter recorded four more albums, including Back to the Heavyweight Jam, which recorded gold in Germany.

In 2002, Scooter enjoyed somewhat of a comeback, with 6 top twenty UK singles ("Ramp! (The Logical Song)", "Nessaja", "Posse (I Need You On The Floor)", "Weekend!", "The Night", and "Maria (I Like It Loud)") all charting in an 18 month period (prior to this comeback, they only ever had one top twenty single in the UK, "Back In The UK"). "Ramp! (The Logical Song)" went gold or even platinum in many countries, including Australia, the United Kingdom and Norway. In early 2002, Scooter produced a second compilation album of songs from Axel Coon's time with the band called "Push the Beat for This Jam". It was at this time that Axel Coon also left the band to pursue a solo career in DJing and remixng, and Jay Frog became the new third man (this period known as The Third Chapter).During this time, Scooter recorded three more albums.

On September 9th, 2005, Scooter performed their first concert in North America at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois along with opening acts such as DJ Markski (Chicago), DJ Erikk, Aquagen, and Benassi Bros.. It was at the Chicago concert that the single, "Hello! (Good To Be Back)" was played to the public for the first time. The band returned to Chicago at the Congress Theatre on November 25, 2006 to play for the second time in the USA, the first time for Michael Simon.

The Who's Got The Last Laugh Now? Tour 2006, named after the latest studio album, was the last tour to take place. After the tour they released a CD and 2-disc DVD entitled Excess All Areas, containing the final concert of the 2006 tour on one disc, and every single video for every single release on the other.

On the August 14, 2006, it was announced that Jay Frog had decided to leave the band to pursue a solo career. He was replaced by Michael Simon. On August 19th Scooter played at the Tufertschwil Open Air in Switzerland. This was a very special event as Michael Simon debuted as the third man of the band.

The next single release, "Behind The Cow" was debuted at The Dome 40 in Düsseldorf, Germany, at the ISS Dome on December 1, 2006. This song is based around a sample from "What Time Is Love?" by The KLF, with the opening lyrics based on "America: What Time Is Love?" also by The KLF. The release date of the next album The Ultimate Aural Orgasm is confirmed for release on February 9, 2007, whilst "Behind The Cow", will be released on January 19, 2007, featuring rapper Fatman Scoop. The film clip for this video was filmed in India, suggested by the singles B-Side entitled "Taj Mahal". These will be the first studio releases with the new member.

Scooter - Behind the Cow (Exub Ravid Doublext Mix).mp3

Metarance

خواهد رسید و دیگه تمام ما طرفداران اسکوتر دیگه به آهنگ هاش ادیکت شدیم
